Hi everyone!

Ako was a one-night trip between Hiroshima and Osaka. The hotel is located on a top of a mountain in a more rural area of Japan. The view from the balcony was amazing! The hotel offered onsen, so some of the students went and enjoyed it a lot. During the day, we played games such as elbow tag and Mafia, which the kids thought was fun. At night, we did some face masks together, and played a card game called Exploding Kittens while listening to music. Ethan ended up winning the game!

Next morning, we caught a beautiful sight of the sunrise from our balcony!

After sunrise, the group walked down 15 minutes to the beach right by the hotel. Jack and Nyzayah swam in the ocean. It was nice to see them swim around and have fun. Other students like Fiona, Nevan, and Chloe walked along the ocean, taking in the view. The sun was warm, but the cool ocean breeze alleviated the heat well.
